The Situation

My Four Wheels are one of the UK’s leading driving schools. As a franchisor they look to attract qualified and trainee driving instructors that want to start their own business. They were using multiple sources to get leads but were facing two main issues: a drop-off in candidates from the usual sources, coupled with a struggle to get on certain job-boards due to the nature of their offering.

The Solution

The first step was to identify the pain points – what was blocking their candidate acquisitions? There can be challenges if your business isn’t offering a standard job role and in such cases it’s vital to have an in-depth knowledge of the technical integration requirements. We were able to offer a suitable solution to open up access for their ads whilst simultaneously streamlining their recruitment process by ensuring all leads transferred through to their existing CRM system. This solution based approach streamlined the process and provided cleaner data with which to make decisions.

The Results

The target set for a month’s worth of leads was met within three days and the conversion quality from lead to offer has increased significantly.

As ever, it’s never a one size fits all response. Recruiting within the franchise model requires the flexibility to provide solutions that will work at different hierarchy levels and the ability to offer central or regional control whilst maintaining brand integrity. But crucially, any solution should also be gathering that vital data to make smart, measurable, knowledge based recruitment decisions.
